alright. enough with the football. we will all have a grand ol time on the fourth of january watching it, and we will all rejoice together in the fact that we just love college football... win or lose. so here is a little something to get your spirit flowin. I think we should all get together and have a party, and if so, i will cook a Poole family recipe for everyone...

per each two persons i will cook one pepper corn porkloin...

you grill it on an open flame until it is well cooked

next i will make my "rockin good time new potatoes"...

boil small red potatoes until fully cooked, then cut into smaller pieces. throw them in the frying pan with special spices (gotta keep some things a secret) and butter.

and the best part... a black cherry wine sauce for the pork...

you take a jar of black cherry preserves and a cup of a black cherry based wine and combine in a pot with a few tablespoons of butter. then you add two tablespoons of diced garlic.

the spice of the pork with the sweet sauce is probably the best thing that i have ever consumed.

get ready folks... january fourth is going to be a gooooooooood day.
