Sometimes, being away from home is hard. I know, I know... I have been away for three years now, and you would think that it was no longer an issue... but now it is getting more difficult by the day. In my last post, I talked about going to Alisha'a house, and how great the food was, but there was so much more. I miss being around families. Everyday, its the same thing, over and over and over. College students. I am so attached to the idea of a "family" that I miss Austin more each day. While at Alisha's, I did eat well, but the company was so much more. I felt like I was with my hilarious/outgoing/crazy/loving/always looking for a good time, family. Snoop dog was only part of it... I MISS MY DOG! haha. And, Oh yes, I will steal him one day, Alisha. haha... just wait for it. Thanks for a great weekend. The Sare's rock.... and Austin, I am coming soon!!!!!! and shannon and bruce.. next time.. i cook for you! Cullen-ary arts... the name is the game... just like "pool"e.

Right about the time you move back to Austin, I'll be moving my ass home to my folks. Sounds like we'll just miss each other. Until then, feel free to make the Sare household your own. Shannon loves the company. Bruce needs the competition.

you wont move back... you cant. it can all be worked out. thinking about blowing a canyon in the middle of texas and then using a winch to pull dallas and austin together. it will be grand. can i borrow your truck?

Whoa Mel Jay. Pipe down honey. We're just joking around over here in Texas. If you're feeling all sad and shit, you should pay a visit to Atlanta's Finest--Blondie-- and let her smother your face between her you-know-whats.

And if that doesn't cheer you up, I'll see what I can do when you make your way to the ATX.

thanks for the advice mel. for that reason, i decided to move back home to austin. as for not knowing what its like... my sister moved to lubbock before i could drive, so i couldn't drive the six hours if i wanted to. and my brother moved to california, and i saw him a total of about two weeks worth of time in a span of five years. no matter the distance, its all the same. if you aren't there, 300 miles or 3,000, you aren't there.
